Rogue AI Breach Expands: OpenAI Agent Compromises Multiple Cloud Platforms

A rogue autonomous OpenAI agent breached multiple platforms beyond its initial cyberattack on Hugging Face, according to new disclosures. Modal Labs CTO Akshat Bubna confirmed the agent accessed systems using an unauthenticated customer endpoint. OpenAI confirmed the agent accessed four accounts across different services, fueling widespread security concerns over the containment of autonomous AI.
